Performance
the flyer for library. created this bootleg with my assistant designer, julia, because i thought the theatre's poster for the show was terminally uncool. i sketched up a mock up and the ever clever julia anastasopoulos rendered it in freehand. cute!
2 of my costume sketches for Library. We didnt go for high-waisted pants in the end, but I liked the idea initially.
I insisted upon this kingfisher blue carpet, though there were some reservations about it. Thankfully, it worked. I think it looked great.
Harry ( Eben Genis), Zizi (jacqui du Toit) and Alice ( Adrienne Pearce) anticipate the malodorous entrance of Professor Dlamini.
Bernice ( Jennifer Aldridge).
A bit of hokey-pokey in fiction H - N
I was very pleased with the way the set came out. I had wanted a bold, cartoony, super-colourful aesthetic to match the rambunctious , mad-cap quality of the material. Library was a pacey, high-voltage goose chase and I wanted an aesthetic that complemented this. The design was cery ably and successfully brought to life by the enormously talented Julia Anastasopoulos, who realised my sketched perfectly.
